Weekly Roundup - March 2nd

After running the Princess half marathon on Sunday, I came down with a bad cold and sore throat so my workouts this week have been sparse. After our race Sunday, my sister and I spent quite a few hours enjoying Magic Kingdom and we could not resist a photo stop here, under the Hall of Champions.  Three years prior, Christine and I insisted Alison have her photo taken here to celebrate her age group win that morning!

Today I will be attempting a long run with Meghan from my running group and hopefully there will be energy in my tank to keep up! Finally glimpses of spring are showing up in my neighborhood with cherry trees in full bloom and crocus and daffodil bulbs peeking out of the ground. We are all ready for this nasty winter to be in the rear view mirror! As far as workouts, Christine had a great week and I am now recovered and ready for a new one to start.  Here's what we did:

Sunday, February 23rd
Pam: Ran Princess half marathon 13.2 miles
Christine: Rest day (looks like 3 rest days this week but with moving my long run last week, I had 1 rest day last week so I moved my rest day to Sun)

  4. We were in Magic Kingdom that same too. Too bad we didn't run into you. Also, we have never seen the Hall of Champions sign before. Isn't it funny how you can always pick up little details of a park you've been to 100's of times? The run with Christine was great! ~L
